NIPN Ethiopia at Arbaminch
One of the greenest and most productive areas of Ethiopia, Arbaminch town, hosted a significant research finding workshop last week.
A dissemination workshop of Multi-sectoral interdisciplinary research findings on Moringa Stenopetala, a validation workshop was held at Arbaminch town from Feb 26 -27, 2021. The workshop brought back different researchers from different universities and partners together.
Taking this opportunity to promote itself, NIPN Ethiopia team presented NIPN key activities and explained the key objectives of and the expected outcomes of the project. The NIPN Ethiopia team distributed brochures, research abstracts on the areas of nutrition. The NIPN booth was visited by top EPHI managers and key researches. About 200 participants visited NIPN booth and explanations were given.
Over 200 Participants from EPHI (DG, DDG, PR and inter directorate collaborating directors of FSNRD, TMMRD, PHEM, Clinical chemistry, pathology lab, HSRHD, lab technologists that undertake lab tests), participants from Arbaminch University, Addis Ababa University and investigating team members, participants from sectoral office, community, elders/leaders and Moringa cooperatives in the study area attended the workshop.
