ADAMA – July 18, 2025 (EPHI/NIPN) - The Nutrition, Environmental Health, and Non-Communicable Diseases Research Directorate (Nutrition) at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) recognized here yesterday employees for their meritorious performances in the course of the execution of the annual plan in the just ending 2017 Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY). Forty-five employees of the directorate were formally acknowledged for their commendable services at an event held during the annual performance plan review meeting.
After handing over certificate to the employees including division head, coordinators and project leads, Dr. Masresha Tessema, Director of the Nutrition Directorate said that hardworking colleagues should always be encouraged to continue working assiduously so that the directorate can successfully achieve its objectives. “This certificate certifies that your services are acknowledged by the directorate, which is observing hardworking employees for recognition. We recognize your commendable service,” he said adding that the directorate would continue working hard to achieve more. “Your diligence add fuel to our continual efforts,” the director underscored.
Earlier division heads, project coordinators and leads presented their respective annual performance reports. Participants of the annual plan review meeting forwarded questions, suggestions and discussion points in the course of the day-long session.
The director, Dr. Masresha Tessema, reiterated during the discussion that every researcher and those who are working on various projects should stay committed.
The meeting today, is expected to discuss and ratify the annual performance plan for the coming 2018 EFY. (EPHI/NIPN)
